Coaching Development Program

With our recent growth and continued focus for the future, we are excited to announce our Coaching Development Program (CDP).

The CDP will allow our coaches to create an environment of teaching, learning, and creating, while having the opportunity to grow professionally as a coach. We are building our tribe and community with the support of talented and passionate coaches.

When I completed my OPEX Fitness Coaching Certification Program (CCP) in 2015, I was the first coach in the state of Nebraska with that designation. The OPEX CCP has been elevated to the gold standard for coaching. The CEO of OPEX, James FitzGerald, has recently been named the chairman of the USA Functional Fitness (USAFF) organization. This will be a pivotal step to add this sport to the Olympic games!

Our developmental program will leverage our partnership with OPEX Fitness. Coaches in our organization will have access to the CCP curriculum as well as grow on weekly calls with OPEX coaches around the world. We will groom our coaches and place specific requirements on them for their personal growth. Clients that are partnered with our coaching staff will have an additional service available with oversight from this group of international coaches.

Through this program, we will build up our coaches and set the standard in Omaha and in Nebraska. All coaches at OPEX Omaha West are required to have a coach for their program.

Coach Mike is led by Matt Connolly from OPEX Fitness.

Coach Steve is currently being led by the Functional Bodybuilding program from OPEX Fitness.

We are pleased to announce that our newest addition to the team, Sara Hogan, will begin her CCP this fall and she is led by Coach Steve Magistro.
