The other 23 hours of the day

All of us have a unique story. We all come from different backgrounds. The things that I have prioritized might be in a different order on your list in terms of importance.

Regardless of what your priorities are during the day and throughout the week, you only have a finite amount of time.

Our clients range in age from 18-57, but the majority of that group is between 38-45 years old. The 18 year old incoming freshman in college and the 57 year old business executive have the same 24 hours in their day.

How each person fills that time tells a lot about their personality, the current state of life, and other factors that make them unique.

We typically get the opportunity to see our clients once per day and it is normally around 60 minutes each time. The other 23 hours of the day are filled with errands, eating, sleeping, family time, working, socializing, etc.

It's no secret. We will all die one day. How we spend all of our 24 hours per day is important to maximize our limited time on this earth.

The hour that we get to spend with our clients brings both Coach Steve and me enjoyment as professional coaches. It gives us the opportunity to do something that we love to do...help others on their journey. We have both been helped by mentors and coaches in our lives and we are blessed to be able to return that favor to the clients that give us the opportunity to serve their needs.

I'll leave you with this excerpt from a conversation I had with a client earlier this week. During the morning session, the client was speaking about a conversation he had with his wife. They are both in their early 40's, they have 2 kids, and they lead busy lives.

To summarize, the wife stated that she was OK with where she was at on her journey with fitness. The husband disagreed and said he was going to fight for everything he wanted. He wasn't going to settle for average.

As you go into your weekend, take a look in the mirror. If there are a few more wrinkles that reveal your life experiences, it's perfectly normal. But, don't just settle for what's in that mirror.

We know our role as coaches is to assist on the journey. We are here to provide you with the guidance you need. We value the trusting relationships that are forged in our gym. If you are lost and don't know what's next, we can help.

Our coaches are skilled at listening and we have the experience and proven systems to help you reach the best version of yourself.

"And in the end it's not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln
