In the fast paced world that we live in now there are endless responsibilities that take minutes and hours from our limited time in a day. For the majority of our clients, they have stress upon stress upon stress and probably could use a full-time assistant to help manage their day and their calendar! When we begin working with our clients we ask a lot of questions to help determine what is most important to them. From this information we can begin to formulate a plan that helps them with exercise, lifestyle (i.e. stress, sleep, balance, and energy), and nutrition to bring them closer to their measure of success. Some of those questions include: -How many hours a night do you sleep? Are those hours interrupted regularly? -How many times are you sick each year? -Describe your energy levels during the day. -What does fitness/success look like to you? -How would you rate your stress on a scale of 1-10? -How committed are you to achieving these goals?

In February we had the opportunity to begin working with Dan and Tovah. They are extremely busy with work, family, recreation, and they do a great job balancing all of those responsibilities while raising 5 children and a dog!

During the initial consultation we met with each of them individually to understand where they wanted to go with their fitness. This allowed us to learn what they value and prioritize. Both of them communicated similar things: -Prioritize "me" time so they could be great examples for their kids -Develop a sustainable nutrition plan to lead to long-term results -Train in a program that didn't "beat them up" -Help them look good, feel good, and perform better From the consultation and assessment, we began designing their programs that took into account their starting point. Some days they train together at the same time while working on priorities that reflect their independent goals. Other days, they have to divide and conquer (one trains in the morning and the other trains at night). Elkhorn Valley Fitness is proud to be an OPEX licensed facility. What that means to you is that we have committed to the individualized journey for all of our clients. The program that we create for you is as unique as you. Your job responsibilities, your family requirements, your nutrition needs, and your starting point in fitness all are independently considered to build a program that is customized for you. If you would like to learn more about our program, please complete a consultation request form on our website. One of our coaches will contact you to discuss how you can take control of your fitness journey. We are here to help! Our tribe is growing and we would love to have you join us!
